Response: This quote has to do with question number three. It has to do with it because people in that place have to pretend to be dead because of all of the things going on. This is what the quote has to do with and the question. There why Valentino was there it says he could see Moses in his eyes while they were shut. While Valentino was there.
Character Judgement: I think that Valentino expresses how he feels in this book a lot. A lot of the quotes that I have are from him because I feel they express's the most out of him. In this quote I like how he describes how he saw moses and how he described it.

Response #2: This quote has to do with number 4 because in his home country the war is on again and he has to try to help friends their or they might die. I thought that this quote just showed how much Ajing still cares about the war. That he wants to call Valentino and tell him about it that they had to tell them (CNN) about it.
Character Judgment: I thought that this quote said a lot about Ajing because it showed how much he still cares about the war. Or how he still cares what is going on about in his Country that he wants to make sure Valentino is aware.
Question #2: Why do u think they tell him to call CNN?

Quote 1: Response- I like this quote because it shows alot about what people will do just to survive at these times. I think that if i were in Valentino's place i would pretend to be dead too, just because you would want to live your life to the fullest.
Question 1: Answer-I think they pretend to be dead because, if the people burning their village saw someone alive, theywould try and kill them. So if you pretend to be dead they won't try to kill you.
Quote number 2: Response- I think that calling the newws channel was not such a great idea, because its not like they can help protect the village. Although the news can warn people not to come to the village because it is under attack.
Question number 2: Answer- I think they told him to call CNN, because CNN is a breaking news channel. So they told them to call so people would know whats happening to the village.
