Quote #1: On the night of our performance, the theater was full. There were eighteen different groups performing, from all over Kenya. Ours was the only troupe of refugees. I thank the lord that we performed well that night; we remembered our lines and under the lights, with all those seats , we still found a way to be present in the words and drama of the play we had written.

Response #1: I thought that this quote related to question number 3. I thought that this quote related to because it shows sort of what he did in Kenya. I thought this was a unique quote because it describes a lot of what was going on right then and what was going on in his head. I think that this was very descriptive on what he was thinking and how he said they wee the only refugees. I chose it because I thought that it was different from other ones and I liked how it descriibed a lot during it.
Character Judgement #1: From many of the things that I have read in this book most of it was obviously said by the author. From this quote I thought it was pretty strong and describing of what he was saying. I like really describing senatances because it gives good info. I think that the author did a good job of describing from what he felt to what was going on and more.
Question #1: Why do you think that he told us this information about the play?
Quote #2: Their questions swung from every simple questions about my name and hometown to more involved investigations of the dangers I had faced. I had been briefed by many other Lost boys about what questions to expect, but the ones they asked me varied slightly.

Response #2: This qote related to question number 4. I think it relates to it because this is something he (the author) had to go through when he came in. This quote stood out to me because it almost reminded me of the interrogations from class that we did. Because it describes what he was asked and how other boys would be asking him something like are they hard questions. I thought it just reminded me of how we were asked questions and how he was sort of interrogated.
Character Judgment #2: I liked how in this the author also talks about what was going on. I think that he likes ot tell a lot about what was going on in that very moment. I think from this book I really figured out how he likes to make sure we get every piece of info. I liked how in this book it was very descriptive and I think he wrote it very well.
Question #2: Do you agree with me when you think this quote sounded like the interrogation's in our class room? Why?
